A new approach to transition and life transformation

(Sedona, Arizona) - Marie King believes that change is inevitable and that how you negotiate change can create a successful transition with life transforming effects or a crisis around a missed opportunity.  She is also convinced that most people do not know how to navigate their way through change effectively and that one of the major transitions is moving from one geographical location to another.

Marie’s beliefs stem directly from her own experience of moving from her native Boston to Sedona.  When Marie began to explore seriously the idea of relocating to Sedona, she faced many challenges.   Once she had met those challenges successfully, Marie was left with some powerful insights into what it takes to transform your life and follow your dream.

Out of those insights, she has developed a set of tools and services that will enable individuals to orchestrate their own transformation.  In the workshop “Is Living in Sedona Right for You,” she uses her original Transition Model, Key Lifestyle Components and Problem Solving Methods to help participants compare life in Sedona with that in other settings and decide if that is how they would like to transform their lives.

Workshops on transition issues are only one of the things offered by Marie’s company Sedona Transitions.  She has also developed a service where employers can place ads on www.sedonaverdevalleyjobs.com at no cost and have candidates sourced for free. She is in the process of implementing a referral system, where people in transition can be referred to reliable businesses.  Finally, she provides one-to-one counseling for those who want guidance in translating their dreams into reality.
